Heavy Rain Alert: Heavy rain on 8,9,10,11,12,13,14 August, monsoon gains speed, high alert in these states

Heavy Rain Alert: The India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in many parts of the country for the next seven days. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and northeastern states. The IMD has issued an alert for some areas.

Heavy Rain Alert: The India Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rains in many parts of the country for the next seven days.

According to IMD, many states of North India including Delhi-UP, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh will continue to receive rain in the coming days. There is also a possibility of very heavy rain in some areas.

Heavy rains are expected in the states of Northeast India - Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from August 8 to 14. Today, i.e. 8 August, extremely heavy rains are occurring at different places in Arunachal Pradesh.

Heavy rain is expected at isolated places in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh during August 8 to 14. There is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning at some places in the western Himalayan region and plains.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till August 14.

Odisha and Bihar may receive rain on August 9, 12 and 13. There is a possibility of rain in many areas of Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand on August 8.

There is a possibility of heavy rain in Marathwada on August 8. Heavy rains may occur in Konkan and Goa on August 8, 12 and 13. Rains may continue in many other areas till August 13.

There is a possibility of heavy rains at some places in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Rayalaseema till August 9. On August 8, heavy rains may occur in Kerala and Mahe, Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam.
