BJP MInister Vijay Shah: Recently, India carried out Operation Sindoor against Pakistan. It was a response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April . Now a case has been filed against Vijay Shah on the orders of MP High Court. Case registered under these sections

A case has been registered against Madhya Pradesh government's cabinet minister Vijay Shah on the orders of Madhya Pradesh High Court for making a controversial statement against Colonel Sofia Qureshi. A case has been registered against minister Vijay Shah under different sections of the Indian Penal Code. A case has been registered against him under section 152 of the IPC.

Which is registered for any work that endangers the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India. Apart from this, BNS section 196 (1) B is also included in it, which is related to inciting violence or disturbing peace on the basis of religion, caste, language and other grounds. Along with this, BNS section 197 (1) C has also been registered. Which is related to statements and works against national unity. 

What could be the punishment?

Let us tell you that a case has been registered against Madhya Pradesh BJP minister Vijay Shah under serious sections of the BS. Under section 152 of the BS, he can be sentenced to a maximum of 7 years. Whereas under the remaining sections, he can be sentenced to a maximum of three years and a fine. That is, if the court finds BJP minister Vijay Shah guilty, he can be sentenced to up to 7 years.
