Four years ago, a minor girl was found to be pregnant. To cover up the pregnancy and protect a male friend, she falsely accused a man of raping her multiple times. Based on her claims, the man was arrested and remained in jail while the case went to trial.

During court proceedings, a DNA test was conducted to match the child’s identity with the accused. The results proved he was not the biological father. Faced with undeniable evidence, the girl broke down in court and admitted she had lied out of fear of being expelled from her ashram. She had named someone she knew, thinking it would protect her friend.

Court’s Verdict and Lawyer’s Statement

The court dismissed the charges and ordered the man’s release. The defense lawyer stated that the entire case was built on false testimony, and an innocent man lost four crucial years of his life because of it.
