Jaipur Metro: A major step has been taken regarding the metro expansion in the capital city of Jaipur. The JDA has allotted land to the metro at four locations.
Jaipur. A major step has been taken towards the metro expansion in the capital, Jaipur. Land was allotted to the metro at a meeting of the Land and Property Disposal Committee at the JDA on Friday. This will accelerate the metro work.
Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Limited has temporarily allotted 919.00 square meters of land for Phase 1C (Badi Chaupar to Transport Nagar via Galta Gate). In exchange for Forest Department land falling within the alignment of this phase, the JDA will provide 2.01 hectares of land in Daulatpura village. This land allocation process will remove obstacles to the metro expansion work and is expected to accelerate the project.

For Phase 2, 3,882 square meters of non-fair revenue land was allotted at the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Scheme on Niwaru Road. 8,000 square meters of non-fair revenue land was allotted in village Shivdaspura, Tehsil Chaksu.
-20,000 square meters of land allotted in village Pachhar, Kalwad for construction of STP under sewer related works in Jhotwara assembly constituency.
