Kartik Aaryan, known for his rapid rise and massive fan following, is set to collaborate with acclaimed director Shimit Amin for the upcoming film Captain India. Shimit Amin, famous for directing hits like Chak De India, Chappan, and Rocket Singh Salesman, has written a compelling screenplay for the project. The two have been discussing the film since last year and share a strong creative vision.

The shoot for Captain India is planned to begin in mid-2026, after Kartik completes his other commitments. The film will be shot in locations including Morocco and India, with the team already deciding on Moroccan spots for production.

Apart from Captain India, Kartik is involved in several other promising projects, such as Sameer Vidhvansh’s Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, a romantic film by Anurag Basu slated for a 2026 release, and Mrigdeep Singh Lamba’s Nagjilla.
