The Iran war has caused LPG shortages in many countries. However, there's some good news regarding LPG bookings. Distributors have once again resumed home delivery in villages. After the war began in early March, rural residents had to frequently visit distributors for cylinders.
To get a cylinder delivered to your home,
you'll need to book your LPG cylinder using your registered mobile number. An OTP will then be sent. Based on this OTP, you'll receive your LPG cylinder.
What the Central Government Said
: In a statement issued by the Central Government, it was stated that 99 percent of LPG cylinder bookings are being done through OTP-based methods. The Union Petroleum Ministry also stated that there are no reports of cylinder shortages from any distributors. Supplies are completely normal.
