Mirai Box Office: Film Crosses ₹90 Crore, Teja Sajja Gets a Luxury Gift from Producer

This year has seen several small-budget films creating big waves at the box office, while many big-budget ventures have faltered. In the South film industry, after the success of HanuMan, yet another superhero film has struck gold. Teja Sajja’s latest release Mirai has turned out to be a blockbuster, grossing ₹90 crore worldwide within just a few days. Out of this, the film earned ₹56 crore in India alone in its first five days.

On its fifth day, Mirai collected ₹5.75 crore, slightly lower than its earlier daily earnings. Still, with a budget of around ₹80 crore, the film has already recovered its costs. Riding on this success, Teja Sajja has received an expensive surprise.

Producer’s Big Announcement

At a grand success meet held in Vijayawada, where Teja Sajja, director Karthik Gattamneni, and the entire Mirai team were present, producer TG Vishwa Prasad made a special announcement. To celebrate the film’s phenomenal run, he announced that both Teja Sajja and director Karthik will be gifted luxury cars.

Reports also suggest that Teja Sajja charged ₹2 crore as his fee for Mirai—the same amount he earned for HanuMan. Interestingly, Mirai was offered to him even before HanuMan. The actor also revealed on Kapil Sharma’s show that he performed all his stunts in the film without using body doubles.

What’s Next for Teja Sajja?

Following Mirai, Teja Sajja will return to his superhero avatar in Jai HanuMan, the official sequel to HanuMan. The sequel has already been announced, and fans are eagerly awaiting its release.

With Mirai set to cross the ₹100 crore mark soon, Teja Sajja is firmly establishing himself as one of the fastest-rising pan-India stars.
