Also, during this period, setting up a drinking water stall and donating water, sherbet, sattu, pitcher, umbrella, cotton clothes, hand fan and seasonal fruits is considered especially fruitful.
Rules for Nautapa:
Auspicious events like weddings, housewarming, etc. should be avoided during Nautapa, as they can disrupt peace and happiness.
During this time, one should eat as light as possible.
For auspicious results, you can arrange water for birds and animals during Nautapa.
If a needy person asks for water or food outside the house, they should not be turned away empty-handed.
