No Marriage, No Terror Links: Hisar Police Debunks Rumors Around YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra

The Hisar police have formally denied claims about the marriage of YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra to any Pakistani operative, confirming she had no known contact with other arrested spies or terrorist organizations.

Hisar, Haryana – The Hisar police have issued a comprehensive clarification on the case involving YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, who is under investigation for her alleged links with Pakistani intelligence. Addressing widespread speculation on social media and digital news platforms, the police categorically denied that Malhotra was married to any Pakistani national or had converted her religion as part of a covert operation.

No Marriage with PIO or Terror Links Found

The police confirmed that Malhotra was in contact with Pakistani Intelligence Operatives (PIOs) but no evidence supports rumors of her marriage to a man named Danish, an employee of the Pakistan High Commission.

“We have found no marriage records, no religious conversion, and no direct terror affiliations in connection with the accused,” said a police spokesperson.

Earlier reports claimed that Malhotra might have had ties with other alleged spies arrested earlier this year. However, police confirmed that there is no connection between Malhotra and those individuals, including Ansarul Miah Ansari and Akhlaq Azam, both of whom were arrested between January and March on charges of espionage.

"1900" data-end="2283">Ansarul, a Nepalese national who worked in Qatar, came under the radar of Indian intelligence after allegedly establishing links with ISI agents abroad. Along with Akhlaq from Ranchi, Ansarul was accused of collecting and passing sensitive information about India's armed forces to Pakistani handlers. Both are currently lodged in Tihar Jail’s high-risk ward under 24/7 surveillance.

Despite media conjecture, Hisar Police stated there is no operational or personal link between Jyoti Malhotra and these individuals.

No Evidence of Financial Transactions Yet

While Malhotra's bank accounts have been examined, police have yet to find conclusive financial evidence of transactions related to espionage activities. Her electronic devices, including a laptop and mobile phones, have been sent for forensic analysis, with the investigation still ongoing.

Police also clarified that no diaries or personal notes allegedly leaked to the media were found in her possession.

Media Urged to Avoid Fake News

The Hisar Police have strongly urged media organizations to refrain from publishing unverified or sensational content, particularly relating to national security cases.

“Fake news during an active investigation can not only obstruct justice but also endanger national security. We request all media outlets to rely solely on official updates,” the department emphasized in its press note.
