Indian air defense intercepted a Pakistani drone amid a blackout in Samba, Jammu and Kashmir. During this, red stripes were seen in the sky and sounds of explosions were also heard.
According to the latest tweet of ANI, after the drone activity in Samba, no drone activity has been seen for the last 15 minutes. The Indian Army said that very few drones have come in the Samba sector. They are being dealt with and there is nothing to worry about.

Army on alert in Punjab and Jammu
Recent drone activities in Punjab and Jammu have put security agencies on alert mode. The administration has started taking action after incidents of drone sightings in areas like Hoshiarpur in Punjab and Udhampur, Katra and Samba in Jammu. A blackout has been imposed in many places. The Indian armed forces are keeping a close watch on the situation.
Sound of explosions in Hoshiarpur
Locals in Dasuya area of Hoshiarpur district of Punjab heard the sound of 7-8 explosions. After this, the administration immediately took precautionary measures and imposed a blackout in Dasuya and Mukeria areas. Hoshiarpur Deputy Commissioner Ashika confirmed, 'We have already coordinated with the Indian Armed Forces, who have told the administration that they are keeping an eye on incidents of drone sightings in the area.' She has appealed to the local people to maintain peace.
Drone activities in Jammu
Around 15 drones were seen hovering over the Northern Command and Air Force Station in Udhampur, Jammu, while the presence of 5 drones was recorded in Katra. Visuals received from Samba showed India's air defense system active with red stripes and sounds of explosions, which were engaged in intercepting aerial objects. A blackout has also been imposed on Pathankot, Vaishno Devi Bhawan and the Yatra route.
News of drones in Jalandhar too
Explosions were heard near Surnasi village in Jalandhar district, following which the district collector took immediate action. Deputy Commissioner Himanshu Aggarwal said, "As a precautionary measure, lights have been switched off in some areas around Surnasi as there have been reports of some drone sightings. We are verifying them. There is no blackout as of now. There is nothing to worry about, as confirmed by armed forces officials." The administration has appealed to the people not to pay heed to rumours.
