Samajwadi Party National President and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has issued a sharp warning to the people of the country, calling for unity and vigilance against forces driven by violence and division. Through a social media post, he appealed to citizens to protect education and social harmony from those who glorify weapons over knowledge and humanity.
In his message, Akhilesh Yadav said that individuals who consider weapons superior to scriptures should be kept away from schools, universities, homes, families, and society at large. He emphasized that education plays a crucial role in civilizing violent thinking and that safeguarding educational institutions is the responsibility of every civilized citizen.
He further urged people to distance themselves from such negative and power-hungry elements and to alert their family members and friends as well. According to him, these forces thrive on hatred and social division, using them to preserve an outdated power structure that has existed for thousands of years—one that ensures the powerful remain at the top while the oppressed continue to suffer.
Akhilesh Yadav described this mindset as a poisonous vine that spreads rapidly once it finds support. He alleged that such groups fuel their selfish interests through social hatred and fear, deliberately working against equality and constitutional values.
Highlighting the growing political awareness among marginalized communities, he stated that the PDA (Pichhda, Dalit, Adivasi) community has now awakened. This awakening, he claimed, has left divisive forces unsettled and fearful. He asserted that nearly 95 percent of the oppressed sections are no longer willing to tolerate injustice, exploitation, or insult.
Concluding his message, Akhilesh Yadav reiterated his slogan, saying that those who are oppressed are PDA, and as suffering increases, so does the strength and unity of the PDA. His statement is being seen as a direct challenge to forces opposing reservation, equality, and social justice, while reinforcing the call to protect constitutional values and social harmony.
