When will Pitru Paksha 2025 start?
According to the Vedic calendar, this year the Pitru Paksha is starting on Sunday, 7 September 2025. The Pratipada date of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month will start on 7 September at 1:41 pm and will end at 11:38 pm on the same day. In such a situation, the formal beginning of Pitru Paksha will be considered from 7 September itself. Pitru Paksha will end on 21 September 2025 on the day of Sarva Pitru Amavasya.
