RRB Railway Recruitment 2025 Application Form: There is good news for the youth preparing for railway recruitment. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has given another chance to apply for Railway Technician Recruitment. Candidates who have not yet applied for this government job can now fill the online application form till 7 August 2025.
Total 6238 vacancies of Railway Technician Recruitment
A total of 6238 vacant posts will be filled in various zones through the Railway Recruitment 2025 campaign. These include 183 vacancies for the post of Technician Grade I Signal and a total of 6,055 vacancies for the post of Technician Grade III. The highest number of vacancies is 2106 for the post of Technician Grade III Fitter (PU & WS). Post-wise vacancy details can be checked in the notification.
Apply by 7 August
The application process for Railway Technician Recruitment started on 28 June 2025 and was initially scheduled to end on 28 July, but has now been extended to 7 August. The last date for depositing the fee is 9 August 2025 till 11:59 pm. After applying, candidates can make corrections in the application form till 10 August. Although the date of Railway Recruitment Examination has not been announced yet, its information will be released in due time. Check the latest notification here .
10th pass-ITI candidates can fill the form
For Technician Grade-III (Open Line, Workshop and PU), candidates must have passed 10th class with ITI certificate in relevant trade or 12th class with PCM subjects. For Technician Grade-I Signal post, candidates must have BE/B.Tech, Engineering Diploma or B.Sc. degree from a recognized university.
Age Limit: The age limit for Technician Grade-I Signal should be between 18 to 33 years as on July 1, 2025 and for Technician Grade-III posts, the age should be between 18 to 30 years. Age relaxation is given to reserved category candidates as per railway rules.
RRB Technician Salary: This is the salary you will get
Technician Grade-I Signal post is Rs 29,200 per month under Pay Level-5.
Technician Grade-III post is Rs 19,900 per month under Pay Level-2.

- Fill the application form and upload your documents.

General/OBC/EWS category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 500 and SC/ST/PH/Female candidates have to pay Rs 250. The fee should be paid online only. No offline application will be accepted.
