Rajasthan: Deputy CM Diya Kumari wrote an open letter to the Chief Minister, made this big demand from CM Bhajanlal

RAS Mains Exam 2025: The demand for extending the date of Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) Mains Exam 2024 has gained momentum.

RAS Mains Exam 2025: The demand to extend the date of Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) Mains Exam 2024 has gained momentum. On this issue, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari has written a letter to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and appealed to consider it in the interest of the candidates.

Diya Kumari has demanded in her letter that the main examination of RAS 2024 should be conducted only after the declaration of the final result of RAS 2023, so that the candidates get adequate preparation time and their interests are protected.

Exam proposed on 17-18 June 2025

Actually, the RAS Mains 2024 exam is proposed on 17th and 18th June 2025. However, candidates say that the interview process of RAS 2023 is not yet completed and the final results are pending. In such a situation, conducting a new exam may be unfair for them, as many candidates are appearing in both the exams.

The candidates took out a foot march in Jaipur on this issue and raised their demand through campaigns like #RAS_MAINS_Suspend_it on social media.

What did Diya Kumari write in her letter?

Diya Kumari wrote in her letter, "The interests of the candidates of RAS 2024 main examination should be taken care of. New examination should be conducted only after the declaration of RAS 2023 results, so that the candidates get adequate time." She requested the Chief Minister to take a quick and sensitive decision in this matter.

It is worth noting that there is enthusiasm among the candidates regarding this demand of Diya Kumari, because the support of the Deputy Chief Minister strengthens their demand. However, there have been controversies regarding the postponement of the RAS Mains exam earlier as well. In the year 2022, the then Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had termed the demand for postponement as "unfair" and decided to conduct the examination on the scheduled dates.

Know what are the demands of the candidates?

Let us tell you, the final result of RAS 2023 is pending. Candidates say that the interviews for RAS 2023 recruitment are still going on, but the final result has not been declared. Due to this, many candidates, who are waiting for the result of last year's exam, are also appearing in this year's exam.

Candidates argue that if the same candidate gets selected in both the exams, then other candidates will lose seats. Apart from this, the unsuccessful candidates of RAS 2023 Main Exam have not yet received their answer sheets, due to which they have not been able to evaluate their mistakes.
