Candidates interested in pursuing a career in the medical sector have a great opportunity. The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) has announced recruitment for 600 Medical Officer (MO) positions. The official notification has been released, and the online application process has begun on September 14, 2026.

Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the prescribed online process till October 13, 2026. Applicants are advised to fill the form before the deadline instead of waiting till the last date.

Eligibility and Age Limit:
Candidates applying for the Medical Officer recruitment must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized institution. Applicants must also register with the Rajasthan Medical Council by the date of the written examination.

As per the prescribed criteria, candidates must be at least 22 years of age and not more than 45 years of age as of January 1, 2027. Reserved category candidates will be eligible for relaxation in the upper age limit as per applicable government rules.

The application fee
and examination fee vary depending on the category of the candidate. ₹5,000 will be required for applicants from General, OBC, and EWS categories.

The application fee for SC and ST category candidates from Rajasthan is ₹2,500. Fees can be paid through the online payment option.

Select the option to create a registration ID under New Candidate.

Submit the filled application form and save a printout for future reference.

Selection Process and Vacancy Details

Candidates applying for these positions will have to take a written exam. Those who meet the required cutoff marks will proceed to the document verification stage.

This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 600 Medical Officer posts. Of these, 216 posts are for the unreserved category, 60 for EWS, 126 for BC, 96 for SC, 72 for ST, and 30 for MBC.
