The Rajasthan government has approved the recruitment of 600 medical officers to strengthen the state's healthcare system . The government also wants to ensure that government health institutions have adequate medical staff.

A recruitment notification for the job will be released soon. Applications will open soon under the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS).

Before the approval, the Medical and Health Department had prepared a notice and sent it to Medical and Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar for approval.

Previously, 39,288 positions have been filled and appointments granted in various departments since the current government came to power in the state. This includes eight Medical Officer (Dentist) positions, 1,699 Medical Officer positions, and 19,240 non-gazetted cadre positions.

Additionally, 15 assistant professor positions have been filled in the Medical Education Department. Furthermore, appointments have been made to 18,126 positions under the National Health Mission (NHM).
