Actor Saif Ali Khan opened up for the first time about a terrifying incident that occurred earlier this year, during an appearance with Akshay Kumar on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s OTT chat show Too Much. The Pataudi family faced a deadly knife attack in their home, and Saif revealed that his younger son, Jeh, was also injured during the ordeal.

The Attack
Saif recounted, “Kareena had gone out and we were watching a movie. After the movie, we went to sleep around 2 a.m. Suddenly, our maid came running and said someone was in Jeh Baba’s room with a knife demanding money.”

Rushing to his son’s room, Saif found the intruder standing over Jeh. “Because of that, Jeh’s hand got hurt—he got a small cut on his hand,” Saif said. He added that in hindsight, he wished he had punched the attacker instead of confronting him directly.

The Family’s Ordeal
Describing the attack further, Saif said the intruder swung the knife at him, hitting him from behind. “I had cuts all over my body, my back was aching. Our house help Geeta pushed him away, saving my life.”

Saif also shared a poignant moment with his elder son, Taimur, who witnessed the attack. “Taimur asked, ‘Are you going to die?’ I told him, ‘No, I am just hurt.’ Seeing him, I calmed down.”
