Gorakhpur: A shocking case has come to light from Gorakhpur, UP. Here a wife was talking to her husband on a video call. Then an argument started between the two. Angry wife hanged herself to death on Friday night after the call got disconnected. When the husband suspected something bad, he called the neighbor, but by the time he reached, the wife had already hanged herself.

Know the whole case in detail 

The whole case is from Piprauli area of ​​the district. 28-year-old Khushi, living in a rented house here, was originally a resident of Ward No. 8, Purana Gola, Barhalganj. Who was married to Mohammad Nadeem Ansari. Nadeem had gone to Medina city of Saudi Arabia just 15 days ago in connection with employment. On Friday night i.e. 23 May 2025, there was an argument between the two during the video call at around 10:59 pm and the call got disconnected. Immediately after this, Khushi hanged herself by making a noose from the window curtain. 

The husband tried to save her by calling the neighbor.

After the video call got disconnected, Nadeem suspected something bad had happened and called Chhotu, who lives in the neighborhood. When Chhotu reached there, he found the door locked from inside. After which Chhotu peeped inside from the window and found Khushi hanging from the noose. He immediately informed the Gida police station about the matter. The

Police opened the door and found the child sleeping on the bed. 

About an hour after receiving the information, CO Gida Ratneshwar Singh and forensic team reached the spot along with the local police. When the police broke the door, Khushi's three-year-old innocent child was found sleeping on the bed. When he woke up amidst the noise, he started crying loudly while looking for his mother. The neighbors took him in their arms and took him out of the room. After which the body was brought down and the forensic team started their investigation and collected evidence. 

Police statement  

CO Gida Ratneshwar Singh said that the police reached the spot on the information of the woman's suicide. The matter is under investigation. Further action will be taken on the basis of forensic and post-mortem report.
