Spy Arrested: ISI spy arrested from Gujarat, villain of Operation Sindoor also nabbed..

Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has arrested a person spying for Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI in a major action in Kutch. This accused, a resident of Gujarat, was sending sensitive information about the Indian Army and the border area to the ISI handler before Operation Sindoor. Along with this, ATS arrested two other accused from Nadiad in action against cyber terrorism, who were targeting government websites, especially the Aadhar card website. This action is part of the investigation that started after the arrest of Haryana YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, who exposed the ISI espionage network.

Youtuber and travel vlogger Jyoti Malhotra was arrested from Hisar on 16 May 2025. She is accused of spying for ISI and sending sensitive information to Pakistani handler Ali Hasan and Danish alias Ehsan-ur-Rahim, an official of the Pakistani High Commission in Delhi. Jyoti traveled to Pakistan twice in 2023 and was in contact with ISI there. Deleted chats and a diary were recovered from her phone, which mentioned her travels and suspicious activities. Investigation revealed that Jyoti had collected information about the fencing and border posts of the Indo-Pak border in Jailoon village of Rajasthan.

According to the ATS, during Operation Sindoor, cyber attacker Jasim Shahnawaz Ansari and a minor were also arrested. Both of them attacked more than 50 government websites through the Telegram group 'AnonSec'. These attacks were carried out at the behest of ISI, which also included Jyoti's network. Jyoti's case has exposed the danger of misuse of social media and digital espionage. Gujarat ATS will share more information in a press conference at 12 noon today. This action will help break the ISI network and is a big step towards strengthening national security.
