When and at what time will the 24th installment of PM Kisan come?
Prime Minister Modi will release the 24th installment of the PM-KISAN scheme from Banaskantha at around 10:30 am today. Under this scheme, a total amount of over ₹18,680 crore will be transferred directly to the accounts of over 9.34 crore farmers across the country through DBT. However, the exact time of receipt of funds will depend on bank procedures. During this event, PM Modi will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects.
Can ₹4,000 come into the accounts of some farmers?
Yes, this is absolutely possible. If your previous 23rd installment was not received due to a technical issue or some other reason, the pending amount may be combined with the 24th installment this time. In this case, eligible farmers can receive a combined total of ₹4,000, consisting of ₹2,000 from the 24th installment and ₹2,000 from the previous installment.
Which farmers will get the benefit and who will not?
This scheme is open to all landholding farmer families in the country who own cultivable land. Under this scheme, ₹6,000 is provided annually in three equal installments (₹2,000 every four months).

What to do if the installment is stuck and how to check the status?
If money hasn't been credited to your account, it's likely due to incomplete e-KYC or the lack of Aadhaar seeding in your bank account. You can complete this from home using face authentication on the official PM-KISAN website ( https://pmkisan.gov.in ) or mobile app.
Here's how to check your payment status:
- First of all go to the PM-Kisan portal and click on 'Know Your Status' in 'Farmers Corner'.
- Enter your registration number and captcha code.
- As soon as you verify the OTP, the complete status of the installment will appear before you.
