A shameful incident of a Hindu teenage girl being dragged away in broad daylight has come to light in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that Shahid and Dilshad, local jihadist youths, along with three or four of their friends, carried out the incident.

The girl's father has lodged a complaint in the police station on March 9, 2026 against this heinous act done with his daughter.

The incident took place in the Madanpur police station area. According to information, 19-year-old Kanchan Yadav had gone to her farm in Harnhi. Then Dilshad and Shahid of the same village arrived there with 3-4 of their friends. Seeing the girl alone, their intentions changed and they started misbehaving with her. The fanatics surrounded the girl from all sides and started asking her name by holding her hand. During this, the victim kept pleading saying, "Brother, let me go," but the fanatics had no interest in the word "Brother."

The accused even tried to drag the victim into a garden. When she resisted, they threatened to make an obscene video of her and make it viral on social media. They also forbade the victim from telling anyone at home and threatened to kill her.The frightened victim somehow reached home in a distraught state and recounted her ordeal to her family. Her father, Umesh Yadav, then went to the police station and filed an FIR. Police have filed a case against the accused under sections 74 and 351(3) of the Indian Penal Code, 2023, and have begun investigating the matter.
