Deepika Padukone, one of Bollywood’s biggest stars, has had a fascinating journey both professionally and personally. Recently, her ex-boyfriend Muzammil Ibrahim opened up about their past relationship during an interview with Siddharth Kannan.

Muzammil revealed that when Deepika first came to Mumbai, he was the first person she met, and they dated for about two years. At that time, Muzammil was a public figure, while Deepika was still a newcomer. He fondly recalled their humble beginnings, including going on dates in rickshaws — something he calls a cute and unforgettable memory, as he never had a rickshaw date before or after.

Despite their breakup before Deepika’s marriage to Ranveer Singh in 2018, Muzammil mentioned that they used to stay in touch and congratulate each other on their successes until the marriage. He also shared that Deepika had initiated their relationship but eventually, he chose to end it.

Now, Muzammil says he is a fan of Deepika, acknowledging how much she has grown into a superstar, while he remains relatively less known.
