However, due to the alertness of the people, he was unable to succeed in his plans.

What happened?
According to media reports, the accused, Sanjay, is originally from Bihar. Initial investigations revealed that the couple's marriage had been troubled for several months. This was Sanjay and Sonali's second marriage, and they were trying to get their lives back on track after moving to Bengaluru. However, Sanjay's alcohol addiction led to frequent fights between the two. After these repeated conflicts, Sonali refused to live with Sanjay.

CCTV footage of the horrific incident, which occurred near the Nelamangala area, has emerged. It shows a helmeted man stopping his scooter on the roadside and grabbing Sonali, who was passing by. He grabbed her by the throat,
causing her to struggle and thrash about. The man pinned the woman to the ground and was attempting to slit her throat when bystanders immediately jumped into action, rushed to the scooter rider and began beating him, forcing him to let go. Passersby immediately stopped their bikes, pulled him off his helmet, and began beating him. The men showered him with punches and punches, forcing him to let go.
