Weight Loss Tips: Dr. Malhar Ganla shares three easy steps to lose 10 kg in 75 days. His focus is on understanding hunger, avoiding outside food, and minimal exercise, which leads to sustainable weight loss.
Weight Loss Secrets: Nowadays, weight loss advice often leads to intense workouts and sometimes strict diet rules. Some say to go to the gym for hours, while others suggest intermittent fasting. In all this noise, people often forget basic things like hunger, routine, and consistency.
To change this mindset, diabetes and obesity expert Dr. Malhar Ganla, co-founder of Freedom From Diabetes, shared a video on Instagram. In it, he outlines three easy steps to lose 10 kg in about two and a half months, or 75 days. Dr. Ganla's method focuses more on when and how we eat than on calorie burning.
Stop appetite suppressants
According to Dr. Ganla, the biggest cause of weight gain is ignoring hunger. He says, "Stop suppressing hunger, and fulfill its needs." When the body doesn't receive the proper nutrition on time, cravings arise and overeating begins. He advises people to understand their body's hunger signals and eat at the right times. He also suggests taking some basic supplements. He claims that once nutritional deficiencies are met, cravings can significantly decrease within two weeks.
Supplement List:
- a daily multivitamin
- Omega 3,6 – 1000 mg daily
- Vitamin D (60,000 IU once a month) + K2 daily
- Magnesium 200 mg daily
- He also stressed on including protein in breakfast, such as eggs, sprouts or lentil cheela.
Bring your own food
Dr. Ganla's second rule is a little stricter, but extremely effective. He says that if you don't carry food with you, you'll end up eating outside. He recommends completely avoiding restaurants and eating out for 75 days. During this time, eat only food you've cooked at home. If food isn't available, wait until the next meal. The only exceptions to this rule are tea, coffee, and lemonade.
Not much exercise
While most weight loss plans emphasize rigorous workouts, Dr. Ganla believes that excessive exercise can increase appetite and make it difficult to follow the plan. He recommends light walks, stretching, and gentle yoga. He says that simple activities can lead to more sustainable weight loss.
