According to reports, scammers send WhatsApp messages to users from an international or unknown number. If the user simply writes "NO" or replies to the message, their phone and WhatsApp account could fall under hacker control. The Telangana Police and Cyber Cell have issued a warning in this regard.
Police said that such replies can activate malware on your phone, which can steal all your personal information. This could empty your account without even visiting an ATM or bank.
