What is View Once feature?
This feature allows you to send a photo or video that the recipient can only view once. Once they close it, the media file is permanently deleted from their phone.
The most important thing:
The person sending the photo or video through this feature cannot save it in their phone's gallery, nor can they forward it to anyone, and the best part is that its screenshot cannot be taken either!

How to send View Once photos or videos on WhatsApp
Sending any media as View Once is very easy:
Open the chat and tap the Camera icon to take a photo or select a photo/video from the gallery.
When the caption page appears before sending a photo or video, a small '1' icon will appear below or next to it.
Tap that '1' (it will turn green), which means the message is now set to View Once mode.
Then press the Send button.
How will it appear to the person in front?
Instead of a photo, the recipient will see just 'Photo' or 'Video' written in the chat, along with a '1' icon. Once they tap and view it, the message will be permanently "Opened" and won't open again.
