The process of obtaining an Ayushman card under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) has now become much easier. The central  government has launched an official WhatsApp chatbot called "Ayushman Sarathi." This will allow citizens to access a variety of services from the comfort of their homes. This will reduce the need to visit  government offices or common service centers for minor tasks .

The National Health Authority (NHA) has created this chatbot. Its purpose is to provide citizens with easy access to digital services related to the Ayushman Bharat scheme, 24 hours a day. This feature allows for the creation of a new Ayushman card, downloading the card, checking eligibility for the scheme, completing eKYC, and other services all through WhatsApp.

How to create an Ayushman card using WhatsApp?
To create an Ayushman card using WhatsApp, first save the official Ayushman Sarathi number, +91 72908 23838, on your mobile phone. Then, send a message like "Hi" or "Hello" to this number on WhatsApp. Select the "Create Ayushman Card" option from the options provided by the chatbot.

Then, enter your mobile number, Aadhaar number, or other relevant information. After OTP verification is complete, the eligible beneficiary will need to complete eKYC. Once all processes are successfully completed, the Ayushman card will be generated and can be downloaded via WhatsApp.
