“We investigated the Vimal Negi case with complete honesty, but the status report filed by the DGP was misleading and meant to derail the SIT’s findings. Some senior officers hold a personal grudge against me.”

He accused the DGP of deliberately interfering in the case and presenting false information to the court.

The DGP, however, refused to comment, saying:

“I don’t wish to say anything on this matter.”
