Benami property seized: Rajasthan ACB has accused Nagar Palika officer Fateh Singh Meena of acquiring property 273% more than his income. Raids at several places including Jaipur revealed benami properties and investments.

Benami property seized: ACB has once again become active in Rajasthan to take action against corruption. Under "Operation Money Minting (MM)", ACB has made a sensational disclosure against the Executive Officer of Nagar Palika Pawta-Pragpur, Mr. Fateh Singh Meena, of acquiring property 273% more than his income. ACB conducted simultaneous raids at 7 locations in Jaipur, Pawta, Shahpura, Kotputli, Thanagazi and Viratnagar and seized important documents.

Invested more than 80 lakh rupees in one place

According to information, Fateh Singh Meena has invested more than Rs 80 lakh in about 15 bighas of land and a housing development in Jaipur in benami names during his tenure. This investment was made through a private company, in which he used the names of people close to him.

Raids were conducted at these places in Jaipur

A flat in Shubh Residency in Civil Lines, Jaipur, agricultural land near Sirsa Road, properties located in Ajinath Road, Shahpura, a house in Triveni City in Pawta, properties purchased in the name of suspected associates - like Kailash Gurjar (Sardarsahal), Rohit Meena (s/o Fateh Singh), and others. These properties are worth several crores of rupees. The investigation also revealed that Meena misused his position to invest in lands at various places including Jaipur city and acquired property through benami transactions. The ACB team has started seizing documents from his residences and offices.

The ACB team will uncover many more layers today

The entire case is being monitored by Additional Superintendent of Police Gyan Singh Chaudhary. After the action, there is a stir in the entire administrative system. The ACB team is now preparing to investigate the sources of money along with investigating the documents.
