By turning on Strict Account Settings, you enable several privacy features at once. This will also help protect against advanced cyber threats. This will automatically block certain settings. However, this may slightly reduce your messaging and calling experience.

How to turn it on?

• To turn on this feature, you will first have to go to WhatsApp settings.
• After this click on the privacy option.
• Then you have to scroll down and go to Advanced settings.
• As soon as you click on this, many options will appear in front of you.
• You have to click on the toggle appearing in front of Strict Account Settings at the bottom.
• Now click on Continue. Then click on Turn On option.

What will be the benefit?

• After turning on this feature, media files and attachments coming from unknown numbers will be automatically blocked.
• Only people in your contact list will be able to add you to a group. All calls from unknown numbers will be silenced and will not receive any notifications.

• You will receive a notification if your security code changes.
