Now you can earn money with WhatsApp! A great feature will launch soon; learn how it works

If you're active on WhatsApp and thinking of starting your own channel, the coming years could be financially beneficial. WhatsApp is soon launching a special feature that will allow channel creators to earn money directly. Now, instead of just focusing on increasing followers, it will be possible to convert your quality content into money.

WhatsApp is working on a new monetization feature
WhatsApp is working on a new monetization feature, which will enable creators to start paid subscriptions on their channels. This means that only users who subscribe by paying will be able to view creators' exclusive content. Currently, this feature is in the testing and development phase, and is expected to be rolled out to all users soon. The company's intention is to make channels more creator-friendly.

Paid Subscriptions and Exclusive Content
This new feature will allow users to subscribe to channels of their choice. In return, they'll get access to posts that aren't available to regular users. Importantly, to maintain transparency, WhatsApp will display the number of paid subscribers a channel has. This will make it easier to understand how popular and trustworthy the channel's content is.

Creators will get complete control

You can set your own fees: Channel owners can set their own subscription prices. This setting can be easily managed in the channel's info section.

Filter option: WhatsApp will also provide a filter option to separate 'free' and 'paid' content to avoid confusion among users.
Optional feature: Notably, subscribing to any channel will not be required. Users can enjoy free content, while paid content will only be an additional option.

How to start your own WhatsApp channel?

Creating a channel on WhatsApp is very easy:

1. Open WhatsApp and go to the Updates or Channels section.

2. Click on the plus (+) icon and select 'Create Channel'.

3. Tap Continue, enter the channel name and add a description and icon if required.

4. Finally, click "Create Channel." Once your channel is created, you can start posting immediately. You can change the channel name or information at any time.

Given the increasing competition among social media platforms, this new feature of WhatsApp can be a big job opportunity for content creators.
