The new सुविधा enables users to receive important messages such as OTPs, banking alerts, and service notifications through Wi-Fi calling (VoWiFi), eliminating the need to purchase expensive international roaming packs.

This means Jio customers can now remain connected to essential services even when traveling internationally, without incurring additional charges.

How the Feature Works

The service operates under simple conditions:

• Your smartphone must be connected to a Wi-Fi network

• Wi-Fi calling (VoWiFi) must be enabled in device settings

Once activated, incoming SMS messages are delivered via the internet instead of traditional cellular networks. Notably, this feature works independently of any international roaming plan.
