A shocking revelation has emerged about the husband accused in the Bengaluru doctor Krithika murder case. He was proposing marriage to other women after the murder. When one woman blocked him, he sent her a message on the PhonePe app, which is truly shocking.

Dr. Krithika M. Reddy was murdered by her husband, Dr. Mahendra Reddy GS, in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Now, a shocking revelation has emerged in this case. It is being reported that Mahendra contacted about half a dozen women just a few months after his wife's death. Shockingly, he even proposed marriage to them.

Police say Reddy confessed to a woman that he had killed his wife. According to a Times of India report, Mahendra sent messages to four to five women, including a medical professional. Police say Reddy texted them, saying, "I killed my wife for you."

Notably, the woman had blocked him on several apps, after which Reddy sent this message on the PhonePe app. It is reported that Mahendra had come into contact with the women in an attempt to marry a second time. Mahendra murdered Krithika by administering anesthesia on April 24th. Police later arrested him in Udupi district on October 14th.

The woman had blocked Mahendra Reddy

Police recovered a mobile phone and laptop from him, which were sent to a lab for testing. During the investigation, messages sent by him to the woman were revealed. DCP Whitefield stated, "Mahendra sent the messages to the woman via PhonePe. The woman's statement has been recorded. She told police that she had blocked Reddy before his marriage. After his marriage to Krithika, she distanced herself from Mahendra. She stated that she had no role in the crime."

Was in contact with the woman till 2023

Not only this, Mahendra also contacted a woman from Mumbai. According to the report, investigating officers found that Mahendra was in contact with a woman from Mumbai until 2023. He even proposed marriage to her several times. However, he later had his father call to inform her that Mahendra had died. After this, there was no contact between the two. Then, in September, Mahendra spoke to the Mumbai woman and told her that he was not dead. He told her that according to his horoscope, his first wife was going to die. Reddy also said that now that his wife was dead, he wanted to marry her.

Kritika got married in 2024

Police said the case was registered after businessman K. Muni Reddy (60) filed a complaint against his son-in-law, Dr. Mahendra Reddy GS (31). According to police, Dr. Mahendra allegedly murdered his wife, Dr. Krithika M. Reddy (28), who was Muni Reddy's younger daughter. In his complaint, Muni Reddy stated that his daughter, an MBBS and MD physician, was married to Mahendra Reddy on May 26, 2024, in Bengaluru.

Mahendra Reddy is also a doctor. The complainant alleged that after their marriage, Mahendra began harassing Krithika. It is alleged that Mahendra pressured Krithika's family to contribute money for the construction of a large hospital. Muni Reddy alleged that on April 21, 2025, Mahendra administered an intravenous sedative to Krithika at home, claiming it was for stomach discomfort. He then administered another dose of the medication to Krithika. The next morning, Krithika was found unconscious. Muni Reddy alleged that Krithika was taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her dead.
