WhatsApp has rolled out a major update for iPhone users, introducing the long-awaited ability to use multiple accounts within a single app. Previously available only on Android, this feature now allows iPhone users to manage two WhatsApp accounts on the same device without needing separate phones.
With this update, users can easily switch between accounts directly within the app. Each account is identifiable through its profile picture, which now appears in the bottom tab, ensuring clarity and preventing confusion while toggling between personal and work profiles.
In addition to multi-account support, WhatsApp has also introduced a cross-platform chat transfer feature. This enables users to seamlessly move their chat history—including messages, photos, and videos—between iOS and Android devices without relying on cloud backups. The transfer process is designed to be quick and completed locally.
Another notable addition is enhanced storage management. Users can now identify and delete large files within specific chats instead of clearing entire conversations. There is also an option to remove only media files while retaining text messages, giving users greater control over device storage.
