Gaining weight after pregnancy is a common issue faced by many women due to hormonal changes, lack of sleep, reduced physical activity, and post-delivery stress. This weight gain often affects not just appearance but overall health as well. While many women try diets or exercise routines, losing weight can still be challenging for some. However, Dr. Dipti Sharma, a medical professional, proved that with consistency and the right eating habits, remarkable results are possible. She shared her inspiring transformation story on Instagram, revealing how she lost 40 kilograms after pregnancy simply by changing her daily diet.
According to Dr. Dipti, her day begins with a glass of coriander seed tea, which helps improve digestion and metabolism—two key factors in weight loss. For breakfast, she usually eats poha with eggs and vegetables, a light yet filling meal that provides a good balance of carbohydrates, protein, and fiber. About an hour after breakfast, she snacks on a fruit of her choice to keep her energy levels steady.
Her lunch includes gram flour chilla along with homemade yogurt mixed with grated beetroot. This combination is nutritious, easy to digest, and high in protein and fiber, which helps keep her full for longer periods.
In the evening, she opts for a handful of mixed nuts and a glass of detox juice to boost her metabolism and control cravings. For dinner, she eats a salad made from egg whites and assorted vegetables, ensuring a protein-rich meal that supports muscle recovery and helps burn fat efficiently. She also makes it a rule to finish dinner by 7 PM, allowing her body ample time to digest before bedtime.
Dr. Dipti’s transformation highlights that losing weight after pregnancy doesn’t require extreme diets or starvation. A balanced diet, discipline, and a consistent routine can make a massive difference. Her journey is a great example for new mothers who wish to get back in shape in a healthy and sustainable way.
