Inflation is rising these days. Not only are urban expenses rising, but so are the expenses of rural residents. Rural residents practice agriculture, supporting their households with the income they earn. However, due to lack of development in villages, some young people remain unemployed. In response, the Agriculture Department has decided to launch the "Krishi Mitra" scheme in every village.

New Scheme for Farmers
The Agriculture Department is implementing a significant scheme to enable farmers to utilize modern technology in farming. This scheme will provide new employment opportunities for farmers. Agriculture Minister Dattatraya Bharne announced this at a press conference in Pune. It is hoped that farmers will be pleased with this decision. He also stated that this scheme will reach every person in the village.

According to Agriculture Minister Dattatraya Bharne, 11,587 supervisors will be appointed in the first phase to provide assistance to every farmer in the state. This process will be implemented at the district level. Under this scheme,
farmers will receive an honorarium of ₹18,000 per year, disbursed every three months. The government aims to launch this scheme on June 1st.

Eligibility and Opportunities for Women
Some of the conditions to avail the benefits of Krishi Mitra Scheme are as follows:

1. The age of the farmer should be less than 40 years.

2. Must have completed at least secondary or higher secondary education.

3. Communication skills should be good.

4. Interest in social work and ability to use social media.

5. 30 percent women will be given priority in Krishi Mitra Scheme.
