LPG Rule Change: Big news! Gas cylinder rules change again, big relief for the common man

Amid ongoing tensions in the Gulf countries and worldwide unrest, there was a shortage of LPG cylinders. The supply chain remains disrupted. There's good news for consumers. Bharat Gas has resumed home delivery of LPG cylinders, providing significant relief to consumers.

Following the outbreak of war in the Gulf countries, Bharat Gas suspended home delivery of gas cylinders in many locations, especially in rural areas, due to gas shortages. This service has now been restored. Prior to Bharat Gas, HP Gas provided home delivery of gas cylinders. Consumers are delighted with the resumption of home delivery.

After the war broke out in the Gulf countries, the demand for gas cylinders suddenly increased. People started buying in panic. Due to this, gas companies had stopped home delivery of gas cylinders in many areas. Now, as per strict rules, home delivery of LPG cylinders has been resumed in those areas. To stop black marketing, the central government has tightened the rules for booking LPG cylinders. Now LPG cylinders will not be available without OTP. According to the new rules, first of all you will have to book LPG cylinder from your registered mobile number.

An OTP will then be sent to your mobile number. You can take this OTP to the dealer or show it to the cylinder transporter. The dealer will verify the OTP. Only then will you be able to receive a new LPG cylinder. You must have your gas passbook with you.
