Because even a small mistake on your part can have a profound impact on both the delivery of the gas cylinder and the subsidy. If you haven't completed your e-KYC yet, do it as soon as possible, otherwise you could face significant problems.

According to the government's new rules, users without e-KYC will no longer receive the subsidy on LPG cylinders starting July 1. This rule applies to beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana as well as other users.

According to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas's directives, all users covered under the PM Ujjwala Yojana and DBTL scheme are required to complete biometric Aadhaar verification (e-KYC) by June 30. If you fail to complete e-KYC by the stipulated time, your LPG subsidy may be withheld or even permanently discontinued.

However, if an individual completes their e-KYC after June 30th, they can still receive the subsidy on future gas bookings. However, note that the remaining subsidy for the period when e-KYC was not completed will not be available.

You can also get e-KYC done sitting at home

It should be noted that Indane Gas users can complete their e-KYC from home using their mobile phones. To do this, they need to download the Indian Oil One app. However, if someone doesn't want to do it online, they can also visit their nearest LPG distributor to complete their e-KYC. Notably, there is no charge for e-KYC verification.

How to do E-KYC through the app?

• For this, you will first have to download IndianOil ONE app.
• After that you sign up with your mobile number.
• Then link the 16 digit LPG ID given on the cash memo.
• Go to the home screen and click on My Profile.
• Go to LPG Details and open Indane Details section.
• Here you will see the option of E-KYC.
• Read all terms and conditions carefully.
• Complete biometric verification by clicking on Face Scan.
• Finally submit the E-KYC Request.
