Every day, many such cases come to light that leave us stunned. Today, we're going to tell you about one such case. 39-year-old Ding possesses educational qualifications that many people dream of. He holds degrees from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Nanyang Technological University, and Oxford. Yet, he couldn't find a job. To make ends meet, he worked as a food delivery worker, first in Singapore and now in China.
But why did Ding face such a predicament? According to media reports, despite his qualifications, his life after completing his studies didn't turn out as he had hoped. After completing his post-PhD research in 2024, Ding applied to company after company for a job. He sent in numerous CVs. He was also invited for more than 10 interviews. But ultimately, he didn't receive a job offer from any company.
After waiting for a long time, Ding finally gave up. To pay off his debt and support his family, he started working as a food delivery worker in Singapore. Initially, he had to work 10 hours a day. He earned around 50,000 rupees per week. After working as a food delivery worker in Singapore for a long time, Ding moved to China. There, he started working as a 'delivery boy'.
Despite his education, he still has to go door-to-door delivering food! Don't you regret it? In response, Ding told the media, “It's a good job. With this income, I can help my family. If you work hard, you can live a good life. No job is too small.”
As soon as Ding's story broke, social media erupted. Many expressed grief over the young man's fate. Others expressed concern about the current education system and job market.
