Easy recipe for spinach spring rolls

  • To make spinach spring rolls, first combine flour, cornflour, and salt in a bowl. Add water little by little to form a thin batter. Heat a nonstick pan, pour a small amount of the batter into thin crepe-like sheets. Prepare all the sheets in the same manner and set them aside.
  • Next, heat some oil in a pan and add ginger-garlic paste and fry. Add the onion and cook until slightly translucent. Next, add the carrots, capsicum, and spinach and cook these vegetables over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes to maintain the crunch and flavor. Add salt, pepper, and soy sauce, mix well, and let the stuffing cool.
  • Then, place the filling on the prepared sheet and roll it tightly, folding the edges in. Use a paste of flour and water to seal the edges so the roll doesn't unravel.
  • Next, heat oil in a pan and fry the rolls over medium heat until golden brown. For a crispier crust, they can be fried over low heat. Alternatively, you can make them in an air fryer at 180°C for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Serve hot spinach spring rolls with tomato ketchup, chilli sauce or mint mayo.
