When did the prices of petrol and diesel increase in May?
The price hike in petrol and diesel in May began on May 15th, when the price of petrol and diesel increased by approximately ₹3 per liter. Then, on May 19th, prices rose again by 90 paise per liter. The trend didn't stop there, and on May 23rd, for the third time, petrol prices rose by 87 paise per liter and diesel by 91 paise per liter. Most recently, on May 25th, petrol prices rose by ₹2.61 per liter and diesel by ₹2.71 per liter.
