Raja Lakshyaraj Singh of Mewar Joins Baba Bageshwar Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra: From Waiter to Royal Social Worker

The Baba Bageshwar Sanatan Hindu Ekta Padyatra, led by Mahant Dhirendra Shastri, commenced from November 7th at the Katyayani Mata Temple in Delhi and will conclude on November 16th at Banke Bihari Temple, Vrindavan. On the fourth day, November 10th, the march progressed through Haryana, starting from Baghola Adani Petrol Pump in Prithla and ending at the Government High School in Palwal. A notable participant was Raja Lakshyaraj Singh of Mewar, who marched alongside Mahant Dhirendra Shastri, widely recognized by his distinctive yellow turban.
Born into the royal family of Mewar on January 28, 1985, Raja Lakshyaraj Singh is the son of the late Arvind Singh Mewar. His upbringing in the royal household included rigorous training on protecting Udaipur and preserving Mewar’s legacy. Educated initially at Mayo College, Ajmer, he further pursued a Bachelor of Commerce at the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School in Australia. Interestingly, to gain firsthand experience in the hospitality sector, Lakshyaraj Singh worked as a waiter at the Four Seasons Hotel in Australia before returning to Udaipur to expand his family’s hospitality business, HRH Group of Hotels.
Raja Lakshyaraj Singh is also celebrated internationally for his extensive social work, earning several Guinness World Records awards. In the padyatra, he was joined by notable dignitaries including Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, who greeted Baba Bageshwar with flowers and fruits. The march also saw the participation of numerous saints and sages, emphasizing the spiritual and cultural significance of the event.
