The central government runs several schemes for daughters. One of them is the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. Today, we're going to provide you with information about this scheme, which allows an account to be opened in the daughter's name.
You are required to deposit money into this scheme every month by the 5th of each month. Failure to do so may affect your returns. This scheme offers an annual interest rate of 8.2 percent.
A minimum deposit of ₹250 and a maximum of ₹1.5 lakh can be made during the financial year. Interest under the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana is calculated based on the lowest balance in the account between the 5th of each month and the last day of the month. Deposits made after the due date will not earn monthly interest.
