Gandhamadana Mountain
Gandhamadana mountain, which is often said to be located between Badrinath and Manasarovar in the Himalayan region, is considered to be the most mysterious abode of Lord Hanuman. This mountain, located near Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu, is believed to be the place from where Hanuman crossed the vast ocean and jumped into Lanka. As proof, his 'footprints' can still be seen on a rock of a temple here. There are folklore about this mountain that during the Kali Yuga period, Lord Hanuman is absorbed in meditation here in a hidden form, where even today sages and saints experience mysterious energy and sometimes devotees also feel his presence in times of crisis.
Himalayas and caves
The Himalayas are also said to have a deep connection with Lord Hanuman. Sadhus and saints believe that Hanuman is still present in a meditative state in 'Hanuman Tibba' of Himachal Pradesh and many caves of Uttarakhand. The areas near Mana village are also considered to be a part of Gandhamadana, where local people and pilgrims have experienced mysterious powers many times.
Mansarovar Lake
The Mansarovar Lake located near Mount Kailash in Tibet is considered to be the energy center of not only Lord Shiva but also of immortal Hanuman and other immortal souls. It is believed that immortal souls come here from time to time, and seekers have a unique experience of the invisible presence along with deep peace here.
Hanuman stream of Chitrakoot

Varaha, Narasimha, Garuda, Hayagriva and Hanuman himself. This temple is considered a symbol of protection from evil forces.
Hanuman Garhi, Ayodhya
There is a belief about the 'Hanuman Garhi' temple of Avadhpuri Ayodhya that Lord Hanuman himself always resides here to protect Ramnagari. The effect of the prayers of the devotees and the echo of cheers can always be heard here.
Why is Hanuman considered immortal?
According to mythology, Mother Sita and Lord Rama blessed Hanuman Ji with 'Chiranjivi' i.e. endless life and immortality. Shri Ram commanded that in Kaliyug, whenever a virtuous person is in trouble, he will be on earth to help him every time. That is why even in Kaliyug, it is believed that wherever the name of Shri Ram is taken, Hanuman Ji is automatically present there.

Science may not be able to solve their mysteries, but for the devotees, the energy and feelings of all these places like Gandhamadan Mountain, Himalayas, Manasarovar, Chitrakoot, Panchmukhi Temple or Hanuman Garhi are always inspiring.
