Jehanabad NEET Student Case: Family Receives Fresh Threat — “Daughter Is Gone, Now the Son Will Die”

A fresh threat has heightened fear in the family of a NEET student from Jehanabad who was found dead under suspicious circumstances at a girls’ hostel in Patna. Just days after the first threat, an anonymous note warning of harm to the family’s son was allegedly thrown into their ancestral home, leaving them terrified and raising serious concerns over security arrangements.

According to the family, the threatening note was discovered on Tuesday near a kitchen window. The message read: “The daughter is gone, now the son will die.” The family claims this is the second such threat they have received in recent days. Despite the presence of daytime security at the house, the incident has sparked panic and anger among relatives.

The victim’s father accused the administration of negligence, saying the family had already informed authorities about earlier threats and even obtained an acknowledgment. “The government talks about security, but the administration is completely inactive. Ordinary citizens are unsafe. We only trust God to protect us,” he said.

Local police from the Shakurabad police station stated that they had not yet received official information about the latest threat, but assured that an investigation would begin as soon as a formal complaint is lodged.

Meanwhile, the mysterious death of the NEET aspirant is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation. The agency has expanded the scope of its probe following the recovery of earlier threatening letters from the family’s home. With the latest warning, the case has taken a more serious and alarming turn, intensifying pressure on authorities to ensure the family’s safety and uncover the truth behind the student’s death.
