A shocking incident that has emerged from New Delhi's Adarsh ​​Nagar area once again compels us to reflect on how some people, under the guise of trust, carry out vicious schemes. A medical student was lured under the guise of friendship, drugged, and then raped and blackmailed with pornographic videos.

The victim is a resident of Jind district in Haryana and is currently pursuing her MBBS degree at the Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College, Rohini, in the hostel. The student is just 18 years old and cherishes dreams for her future. But a single encounter has unimaginably upended her life.

The student alleges that a 20-year-old man named Amanpreet first befriended her and gradually gained her trust. Then, on September 9th, he invited her to a hotel in Adarsh ​​Nagar. There, the man gave her a drink laced
with drugs, causing her to fall unconscious. She was raped in that state.

Blackmailing through photos and videos
Furthermore, Amanpreet also took obscene photographs and videos of the student during the incident. Later, he threatened to make these images viral and continued to sexually exploit her. Living under mental pressure and fear, the student finally mustered the courage to approach the police.

Based on the student's complaint ,
the police have registered a case against the accused and launched an investigation. The search for the accused is ongoing and it is being investigated whether any other individuals were involved in the incident.
