Rajasthan Royals' franchise Barbados Royals has won the Women's Caribbean Premier League (WCPL) 2024 trophy. Barbados Royals defeated KKR's franchise Trinbago Knight Riders by 4 wickets in the final match. This match held on 29 August was very exciting. Both the teams were seen struggling to score 100 runs. Trinbago, batting first, had set a target of only 94, which the Barbados team chased with 30 balls to spare, but in the meantime, they lost 6 wickets. At one point, the match seemed to be slipping out of hand for Barbados. Then Sri Lankan veteran player Chamari Atapattu stood up as a one-woman army.

The final of WCPL 2024 was played between Trinbago and Barbados. The Barbados team won in this, in which two players Chamari Atapattu and Alia Eileen made important contributions. Barbados captain Hayley Matthews won the toss and decided to bowl first. After this, the Trinbago team fell like a pack of cards in front of Alia's bowling. The Barbados team, which came out to chase 94 runs, had a good start. There was a partnership of 48 runs for the first wicket, but after this, the series of wickets started falling and the team lost 5 wickets in scoring the next 37 runs. Despite this, Chamari stood firm at one end and finished the match.

Barbados captain Hayley Matthews dominated the entire tournament. She showed her talent with both bat and ball. Matthews was the second-highest run scorer in the entire tournament.
