First Indian PM to visit Brunei in 78 years, will visit two more countries

This visit of PM Modi holds special importance as he will become the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Brunei. The main objective of this visit is to strengthen bilateral relations with Brunei and promote economic, cultural, and political cooperation. Let us tell you that India and Brunei are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations.

Brunei is a country located in South East Asia. This country is known for its prosperity and natural resources, especially in the field of oil and gas. India and Brunei have had good relations for a long time, but this visit of Prime Minister Modi will provide an opportunity to deepen these relations even more.

During the Brunei tour, the PM will visit various areas of Brunei and meet the people there. After this, he will visit Singapore and America. PM Modi will visit Singapore on 4-5 September. During this visit, Modi will also participate in many international forums, including the United Nations General Assembly. Purpose of Visit to Brunei

Many important issues are likely to be discussed during this visit of PM Modi. These include trade, investment, and security cooperation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit three countries in September. In the first phase, he will visit Singapore and Brunei. This visit of the PM can start from 5 September. In the first phase, he was also supposed to visit Thailand. But, due to the postponement of the BIMSTEC conference, he will not go to Thailand now. Prime Minister Modi will visit America in the second phase. He will also address the United Nations General Assembly.
