On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took both the bodies in their custody and got the post-mortem done. At present, the police is investigating the case by taking the woman's husband into custody.

According to the police, Albunius Murmu, who lives in Dhankutta village of Hansdiha police station area, lives in Himachal Pradesh for livelihood. He had come to the village on leave for the last one month. He had to return on 20th July. Meanwhile, he had a dispute with his wife Surajmuni over some issue. Surajmuni wanted to stay in Himachal Pradesh with her husband along with her daughter. Whereas Albunius was not ready for this. It is being told that there was a big fight between the two on this issue late on Saturday night.

First she made her daughter drink pesticide

After this fight, Surajmuni got angry and made her two-year-old innocent daughter drink pesticide. After this, she drank the remaining pesticide herself. In this incident, both mother and daughter died on the spot. On receiving the information, the people of the nearby neighborhood reached the spot and informed the police. After this, the police in the village took both the bodies in their custody and sent them for post-mortem. The police has taken the woman's husband into custody and started questioning him.

According to the police, the villagers have also been questioned in connection with this incident. This is not the first case of family members committing suicide after a domestic dispute in Jharkhand. Earlier, in Kumhar Sai village of Seraikela district, after a fight with her husband, a woman jumped into a well with her three innocent children. In that incident, the villagers saved the woman, but all three children died by drowning.
