Tech Tips: This is how you can change your UPI PIN without an ATM card, know the process here!

We all use UPI apps to make payments, whether it is a transaction of Rs 10 or Rs 10,000. Making payments through UPI apps has become very convenient. Do you know that you can create a UPI PIN even without an ATM card? Similarly, you can reset or change your PIN even without a debit card. Let's find out how.

If you use the Paytm app, start by navigating to your app and clicking on the profile icon. Go to Settings and find the option "Security & Privacy". Inside, select the option “Change UPI PIN”. Now, select the bank for which you want to change the UPI PIN. Enter your old PIN and confirm it to set a new UPI PIN.

Keep in mind that you can change your UPI PIN without a debit card only if you remember your old PIN. If you forget your old UPI PIN, you cannot change it without a debit card.

As mentioned earlier, you can generate your UPI PIN without a debit card using your Aadhaar card. National Payments Corporation of India provided a registration option for users in 2021, allowing them to verify their UPI using Aadhaar. While creating a new UPI PIN, select your UPI verification through an Aadhaar card, enter the last six digits of your Aadhaar number and input the OTP. In this way, you can create your UPI PIN without a debit card.
